The Parenting Teens class is a series of five sessions designed to help parents and caregivers of 11- to 18-year-olds. The goal is to equip our teenagers for life by looking at: • keeping the end in mind • meeting teenagers' needs • setting boundaries • developing emotional health • helping teens make good choices. The course emphasizes that each family is unique, and each parent has their own parenting style. It recognizes that because the teenage years are a time of transition, we need to change the way we parent teenagers, who need of understanding and acceptance as well as guidance and boundaries.
